Australian Pioneer Aviator Dies

“A pillar and icon of the Australian Women Pilots Association (AWPA), a flying instructor of extraordinary ability and empathy, a true pioneer of general aviation in Australia, Senja folded her wings this week, dying at home on Tuesday at the age of 93. A friend and mentor to many women pilots, Senja Robey was a living treasure of aviation in Australia, and her death has created a hole that is unlikely to be filled for many years yet.” Read full story here.
